Come home to your Body
For many people, especially those who have experienced trauma, chronic stress, or disconnection, being in the body can feel unfamiliar, overwhelming, or even unsafe. The body may have been a place of tension, pain, or numbness for so long that we've learned to live mostly in our heads, disconnected from our physical sensations and inner wisdom.
To come home to your body is to slowly rebuild that connection. It's learning to listen to your body’s signals, to trust them, and to feel more grounded and whole.
Visionary Craniosacral Work®
Visionary craniosacral work is a holistic therapeutic approach developed by Hugh Milne. Visionary Craniosacral Work is a deeply intuitive and gentle form of bodywork that invites your whole being — body, mind, and spirit — to return to its natural state of harmony. With light, listening touch, the practitioner attunes to the subtle rhythms of your craniosacral system — the fluid and membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord — and supports the body’s innate capacity to unwind and heal itself.
This work moves beyond physical structure; it listens to the stories held beneath the surface — the emotions, the patterns, the echoes of past experiences — allowing them to gently release. As the body feels heard and supported, the nervous system softens, breath deepens, and a profound stillness begins to emerge.
Many people seek Visionary Craniosacral Work for a wide range of conditions, including:
Chronic pain, headaches, and migraines
Neck, jaw, and back tension
Stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
Sleep disturbances and fatigue
Emotional or physical trauma
Post-injury or post-surgical recovery
Nervous system dysregulation
Support through transitions, grief, or burnout
Beyond symptom relief, this work offers something deeper — a reconnection to your body’s wisdom and a felt sense of safety within yourself. Clients often describe feeling lighter, more spacious, and profoundly calm after a session — as if something inside has finally exhaled.
Each treatment is unique, guided by deep presence and intuitive awareness. Rather than “fixing,” this approach honours your body’s innate intelligence, allowing what is ready to shift to do so with grace and ease. In that still, sacred space, healing becomes less about doing — and more about remembering who you truly are.
NARM™ Informed
Trauma Work
The Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), created by Laurence Heller, is a therapeutic approach designed to address complex trauma and early developmental experiences that affect identity and interpersonal relationships. This model integrates principles from neuroscience, relational psychology, and somatic work to help individuals identify and release unconscious patterns rooted in personal history and the nervous system.
NARM focuses on how early experiences of dysregulation, abandonment, or invalidation impact emotional self-regulation and build defenses that limit authentic connection with oneself and others. Unlike other approaches, NARM does not solely aim to process trauma but also seeks to restore healthy identity through reconnection with bodily sensations, emotions, and relational patterns.
ScarWork®
ScarWork® is a specialised form of fascial therapy developed by Sharon Wheeler. It is focused on removing discomfort and functional limitations that arise due to the presence of scars. Forming scar tissue is our body’s natural response to wound healing. However, during the healing process, adhesions develop and they may cause tension, movement restrictions, and compensatory movement patterns.
The ScarWork® method focuses on restoring the natural pliancy and flexibility of the tissues. Beyond merely providing a cosmetic effect, it works on deeper structures such as fascia, nerves, and internal organs.
It is never too late to address scars; even small or old scars can benefit from treatment, making it worthwhile to consider scar work as part of a rehabilitation or wellness plan.
Visceral Manipulation
Visceral manipulation is a manual therapy technique that focuses on the gentle manipulation of the internal organs. This approach aims to improve the mobility, tone, and motion of the organs and their connective tissues to enhance overall function and reduce pain or dysfunction following injury, surgery or inflammation.
By addressing restrictions and imbalances visceral manipulation seeks to restore proper physiological processes and support the body's natural healing mechanisms. It is often used to treat scar tissue, digestive issues, respiratory problems, musculoskeletal pain, and certain types of headaches.

Why treat scars and emotional trauma?
Physical scars can quietly disrupt the body’s natural balance—limiting movement and triggering subtle compensations that become second nature over time. Often, we adapt without even realizing it… until the body runs out of ways to cope. That’s when pain can suddenly appear, seemingly out of nowhere—sometimes years, or even decades, after the original injury.
I’ve been working in therapeutic bodywork for over a decade, and time and again, I’ve seen how scars, both seen and unseen, can play a powerful role in pain patterns and injuries. These insights deeply resonated with me, and ultimately led me to dedicate my practice to this often-overlooked, yet profoundly important, work.
Through my work with trauma—using Craniosacral Therapy and the NARM method—I’ve come to see just how similarly we all tend to carry emotional wounds. So often, we overlook them until our body or mind gently (or not so gently) demands our attention.
Healing trauma isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about reconnecting with ourselves in a deeper, more authentic way.
